Remember how we used to tip and get tipped on Farcaster?

Motion is bringing basically the same model to X.

You earn Points through activity and engagement, and according to their info, those Points are eventually converted into Tip Allocation. The Tips you receive can then be claimed/sold

How to start:

Connect your X account, then make a post and tag:

$MOTION + @tipmotion

After around 30 minutes, you should receive roughly 200 Tip Allocation according to the system.

How do you tip & get tipped?

Find people posting about $MOTION + @tipmotion and reply to them.

Your reply counts as a Tip and reduces your Tip balance. When others tip you, your balance goes back up.

How to withdraw?

Once you reach 1,000 Tips, you can add your wallet address and claim your rewards.

Point value

Right now, 1,000 Points have been worth around $5.2, but this is constantly changing. A few hours ago it was around $12, so don't treat the current value as fixed.

Who can earn Points?

Almost anyone, as long as:

• You have at least 25 followers
• Your X account is at least 30 days old

That's it.

You don't need to connect a wallet to start. Everything happens inside Motion, and the only on-chain transaction is when you claim your Tips.
