Korn Ignites Woodstock ’99 with “Blind” – and Unleashes Chaos
“Blind” – Korn (1999, Live at Woodstock 99, East Stage)
On July 23, 1999, Korn opened their set at Woodstock ’99 with “Blind,” playing to an estimated 250,000 people on the East Stage. The performance came as the festival teetered on the edge—high temperatures, inadequate security, and mounting crowd tension already setting a volatile tone. Korn were at the peak of their Follow the Leader fame, bringing a massive nu metal following into an increasingly unstable environment.
Immortality. Bridge School.
I’ve seen this ten times in a row right now.
Mike’s solo here is so incredible that I actually like his solo on the actual studio version even more because of it - it sounds SO good in an intimate setting like this.
We said our goodbyes to Nicki last night in the most appropriately meaningful way, with a hero’s Honor Walk. I need to advise that the video might be hard to watch, seeing her in that state. But we are sharing it in order to help bring awareness and positivity to the beautiful act of organ donation. True to her selfless spirit and soul until the very end, she will be giving people she never met the greatest of Christmas gifts.
Me dice Spotify que he escuchado esto 1.000 veces 🙄 y poco me parece...
