Jax was a lot of things
-Mentally disturbed
-Broken by a distant father and abusive mother
-A complete asshole that has caused issues with his own issues
-Scared, Asinine, Abusive, Masking, etc.

Trans was not one of the things I have ever picked up on in the entire series. Honestly, Jax seems like he has a problem understanding Masculinity as well as having issues with connecting to women because of his mother. He seems more self-destructive because he's never known anything normal, causing problems by trying to avoid anyone know his weaknesses. All because his mother exploited and mocked his fragile mental state.
