After backtesting and forward-testing hundreds of bank holidays across multiple market, I simply don’t trade them anymore. Never again.

- Liquidity dries up → spreads blow out and slippage becomes brutal.
- Volume drops 50–90% → one big order can spike price 5–10× more than usual.
- “Ghost moves” everywhere → stop hunts and fake breakouts with no follow-through.
