Update - We had to use TM resale and buy 4 instead of the 3 we needed. Total scramble in the end which cost us a good deal additional - and a ton of stress. One rep from Tickpick has been helpful in trying to do something for us at least.
.@TickPickSupport@TickPick - drove 8 hours with my two boys to Cleveland and you left me stranded outside the game. I’m scrambling now but we need to talk…
@darrenrovell Most collectors of Washington-level items buy proper documents and letters as opposed to an encapsulated cut, which would be the bottom level Washington item attainable, regardless of a subjective “grade”
@darrenrovell So even if he buys it for 11,000 then, he’d be thrilled with 13-15 and he’d be out of it. Tonight’s price isn’t relevant. The first Lincoln autograph I ever bought was at Christie’s around 2007 - I paid somewhere around $2,100. It was a different field compared to today.
This doc is signed by Chester Nimitz as Commander of the Pacific Fleet for Fred Gretsch Jr - who left his family’s music business to serve in WWII. Before I offer it on my site, I’m trying to find @fredgretsch or @DinahGretsch to see if they’re interested. Please reach out if so
@NYIslanders Starting with Sbisa, Dal Colle & Wahlstrom at $800+ is simply awful marketing. Those are bargain bin guys - you have 100s of others to choose from. And need more pics. Set dates? You have an audience looking to buy but this isn’t it.
@darrenrovell@NYIslanders The worst roll out of a game worn program ever. Pent up demand for a team without a program for years - and this beginning was awful.
An incredible season has ended for Max. I asked him what his favorite goal was & this is the 1 he loved the most-it’s not the prettiest of goals but it had 2 things:
1 - it was his 1st goal scored in Colorado
2 - he scored it against the Alma Mater of his idol @Thomas_Hickey14
@cllctMedia@darrenrovell It’s a category of collectibles not many people know you can sometimes obtain. Here’s the 2015 US Open Women’s Finals flip coin from my collection.
Thrilled & honored to offer 2 of the rarest Harry Truman items we have ever handled (let alone seen!)
Typed letter signed - dated 4/12/45 - the day FDR died & Truman unexpectedly ascended to the Presidency.
Handwritten manuscript on bottom of a printed Abraham Lincoln quote.
