Since I posted that I'd always make one post that will hit 50k views in a day, have you guys noticed it actually happens?

There's no way you sit to study something, and you won't gain more insight.

Exactly how every business works.

The simple thing is...

WHY did this post hit 50k views?

Then you will get the HOW to do it.

And then a result.

It's how I get results in business.

What brought me into business was me looking for a way to make an extra 60k per month.

Broken down into 30 days was 2k everyday.

I hissed because it looked so easy to achieve.

Rather than seeing the extra 2k after starting the business, I spent up to 3k everyday on that business.

The 2K started flowing regularly after about 5 months.

A colleague of mine started a Pharmacy business 2 years ago in a prime location.

(Same location I rejected in the post I quoted.)

He was lucky with zero competition around him.

And started making up to 600k daily within 6 months.

He reached out to me last week, saying he wanted to sell the store.

The expected question is "why?"... Right?

So, I asked:

Why?

He gave one rubbish and nonsense excuse.

But in case you're interested...

Said he wants to sell because his people's eyes are on him, and that they are disturbing him too much.

Stupid excuse, yeah?

Let me now tell you what the real gist is.

He inherited a lot of money from a family member.

And because he had excess money in circulation after setting up the Pharmacy, he ventured into another business.

But I warned him.

No... I advised him against the move.

But money makes a lot of people behave like drunks.

So...

He invested a huge amount in farming:

Piggery

Poultry

And cassava.

On up to 150 hectares of land.

Flood damaged the cassava.

Theft and mismanagement finished the poultry.

Left with some pigs.

But not much.

Now...

His sales have shrunk.

Another similar business has opened, even closer to the people he was to capture.

And a rumour that another business, which has been doing well, is coming very close to him.

And...

He had not stayed to nurture the business.

Let me tell you...

Diversification has almost the same effect as expansion in this regard.

Before you start to expand your business and start having branches, there's one thing to do.

Before you diversify into other businesses, there's only one thing to do.

That one thing is...

Ensure you can be away for 3 solid months and nothing will happen.

Sales won't crash, the business won't turn upside down, and all customers won't go.

I am not talking about times where you travel for a burial ceremony over the weekend, and you come back Sunday night to come and balance account.

That's when you can scale and diversify.

A guy told me after seeing what I pulled in 2 weeks.

He continued...

I want to support you with a token, sir.

Took my account number and sent me 10k for a bag of cement.

He's a student.

He sat in front of me for another 1 hour, and I told him many stories.

He enjoyed himself till the carpenters snatched me away from him.

And in case you don't know, I am growing old everyday and all I am seeing is the story I now tell you all.

Parked in front of someone’s shop today because I needed to say hi to a family member, and there was nowhere else to park.

I saw the displeasure, and only greeted her and left.

But she didn’t say a word or protest.

So, I decided I was going to patronize her before zooming off.

Got to her shop and everything was... barruf.

I tried and tried to pick just one thing…

But no.

I couldn’t grab anything of good quality.

Counted 5k for her, said sorry again for blocking her shop, then zoomed off.

There’s no morale in this story.

And… there’s no witchcraft sitting on your business.

I saw the way some of my staff were moving funny lately, and I decided to tell them bye-bye.

3 of them.

They were already ganging up, and started some toxic traits.

Newly employed.

None has stayed 3 months.

They've been sending me curses since morning.

One of them would come to work, never attend to female or average customers...

Always scouting for rich young guys, and those are the only customers she's nice to.

And since morning, I have been relieved.

It's business I'm building.

And I'm seriously leading it.

I am not looking to bear the title of a good boss...

To run everything down.

Someone sent bags of cement to my restructuring site.

As support.

And it felt like Gold.

Same person came again, another day, and saw everything.

Opened his mouth wide, and said:

"Sam, you spoke about this the other day like it was nothing... but this is massive."

He left.

And Next thing...

I woke up to 500k from him.

And honestly... I am looking at the entire project, that the reason it has gone this far is the bags of cement and the 500k.
