Saw Tony Gwynn play once in Atlanta. It was my first game at Fulton County Stadium in 1989. Didn't realize how special it was at the time. He was a great hitter.
No one's home so a great time to organize. Been moving guys into toploaders binders. Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz, Chipper, Murph, & McGriff have been moved. Griffey, Ripken, Bonds, Gwynn, Boggs, Brett, and Jeter next. Any suggestions? @CardPurchaser@JunkWaxHeroes@RetroCardSnaps
@EbayRavelle@CardPurchaser@JunkWaxHeroes@RetroCardSnaps I get it. I like them for organization and preservation. Display case would be for my best but I like being able to access a card in a toploader. Im not transporting to a show per se.
I cringe when I hear Derek Jeter mentioned as overrated. He's an All time great. While yes, he had a great situation in a great market, he also made the most of it. Many had a similar opportunity and did not. He played the game the right way and carried himself with respect.
