VIDEO | Gurugram: 12th standard student Aarkin Soni has developed a low-cost DIY home air purifier amid rising pollution in Delhi NCR. He says,
"I study in Delhi, and last year, when we faced 1000 AQI, it was a shock. I wanted to do something, so I developed a low-cost DIY home air purifier amid rising pollution in Delhi NCR."
He adds, "Commercial purifiers cost 15,000 to 50,000 rupees, but ours works for 2,500 to 3,000 and reduces indoor pollution by 50 to 80%. We’ve reached 7 to 10 schools and 300 students through workshops. This is just the beginning - the next generation needs tools and understanding to tackle pollution."
