I am closely following the tragic death of Bill Kaunda, a student leader at MKU and member of the ODM Disability League.
Last week on Sunday 11th of January 2026 at 7:00pm, Bill was hit by a car along Raila Odinga Road and rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital. Despite multiple surgeries to save his life, he succumbed to his injuries in the morning hours of Monday 12th January 2026.
The driver recorded a statement at Langata Police Station and was released on bail but has since failed to appear for further questioning. The family has raised serious concerns, including slow progress in investigations, inconsistencies in the post-mortem report, and unclear communication from the police.
The latest update that I have received: police confirm that the suspect resurfaced and recorded another statement, and the base commander has indicated that concrete findings may be filed by the end of next week for the case to proceed to the next steps.
Bill’s life mattered. His family deserves clarity,accountability, and justice. I will continue to stay engaged and ensure the investigation is transparent, thorough, and leaves no questions unanswered. #VIP
Kenya has clear, recognized qualifications:
• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology
• Bachelor of Pharmacy (Pharmacist)
A KCSE certificate is NOT a pharmacy qualification.
There is NO such thing as a “certificate in pharmacy”—this was discontinued in 2007. #ppb
Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) is seeking to recruit individuals to fill various positions

Application Deadline: December 20, 2025
@Kenya_Ports
It’s very worrying to see a respected institution like Kenya Ports Authority attempting to employ unqualified personnel to handle pharmaceuticals.
As we work toward ML3 for Pharmacy and Poisons Board, ONLY qualified staff should be entrusted with medicines.
UNREGULATED ONLINE PROMOTION OF PRESCRIPTION MEDICINES: A GROWING PUBLIC HEALTH CONCERN
We wish to draw the attention of influencers, digital content creators, pharmaceutical sellers, and the general public to the growing and dangerous trend of promoting POMs on social media.
We have taken note of your growing influence in the wellness/fitness space & acknowledge the positive impact you are making... While we believe you intend to inform & help, such communication unfortunately falls within the promotion of prescription medicines, which is prohibited.

This is the life of an intern doctor.Long working hrs with no callrooms,no meals,no leave,no place to bathe,you miss family events and work on holidays. The toughest time ever as a doctor was during internship.The same can be said of 99.9% of all drs and that is why NO DOCTOR WORTH HIS OATH can dare abandon the young ones when their salaries are reduced or when their plight is downplayed.This strike will last as long as the internship issue is ignored. @MOH_Kenya@KenyaGovernors #DoctorsStrikeKE
