@DavidLammy 4. In the meantime at least 10,000 unaccompanied minors have gone 'missing' after arriving in the EU since 2015. They are likely to have been trafficked into child slavery, including sexual exploitation.

I can't begin to imagine the kind of person who thinks any of this is okay.

@DavidLammy 2. Their parents didn't leave them behind; they're usually dead. They're asking to be reunited with family members like aunts & uncles.
3. The number of unaccompanied minors in the EU who are asking to be reunified in the UK is tiny - the latest data I found is fewer than 1000.
