Don’t call it a comeback.
I’ve been here for years.
And my war against the Democratic Party’s unacceptable corruption is just beginning.

The war on Iran launched by the Trump-Netanyahu Axis of Evil has stretched on for far longer than its proponents guessed at the outset. As the damage to the global economy continues to mount, their desperation appears increasingly evident.

Israel’s depraved sexual torture of detainees has gone on for years.
Nakba Day offers an apt moment to observe that human rights have been—and remain—in exile.

Many Americans are fed up with the complicity of elected Democrats, but most grassroots voices can do only so much.
Californians, however, enjoy a unique opportunity to reject business as usual by electing Green Party nominee Butch Ware for Governor.

#MaytheFourth is a great time to rediscover the profound allegory that prompted Lucas to write Star Wars.
It wasn’t just a western set in space.
Its message holds immense relevance for America in 2026.

@SusanDReynolds@joegarofoli@sfchronicle@MHurabiell I can relate. I had to sue the Chronicle for the racist click bait it published when I ran in 2020, and ended up leaving the city after the courts refused to apply the law in order to protect Pelosi and the appearance of fairness in the political process.
@davidsirota I especially appreciate you noting how Obama continued the assault on the Constitution initiated by his predecessors.
Too many partisans forget the bipartisan nature of the longstanding corruption in Washington. https://t.co/XgvMzRyyOV
listen, this little video might actually be the single best thing I've ever been involved in producing in my whole career - take 128 seconds to watch it and pass it on
Absolute malpractice by national media to not mention Connie Chan when reporting on this race. Saikat is framed as this outsider when he’s a rich carpetbagger.
Nothing against Hasan, love his work, but it’s weird how all left media is ignoring Connie Chan. She’s polling w/in a margin of error of Saikat and has nearly all the local progressive endorsements.
I believe we should vote for Connie Chan for Congress. Can anyone name three local or state progressive actions Saikat Chakrabarti, her opponent, has led or fought for in the last ten years. He has lived here over 15 years and has had the wealth and time to do more than most. We know he voted for Lurie over Peskin and donated to replace progressive supervisor Dean Preston with corporate centered Bilal Mahmood. Saikat used his wealth and power to move SanFrancisco to the right, a progressive would have done the opposite. Look at the voting shift in attached chart after Saikat’s help.
Nobody with power/status in either party is ever held accountable for what they do, to the point where partisan voters now believe their civic duty is not to press their party to deliver, but to instead protect their politicians from ever being held accountable for anything.
@48hills It’s bizarre that you defend ethics violations, as well as a public official whose racism & Islamophobia are publicly documented—though perhaps not surprising, given the patterns apparent in your own reporting
