*Ahem!* Humble brag, but @cecilewrites and I were a TOP TWELVE FINALIST in this contest! So excited for us. 😍 And congratulations to the winner, other finalists, and the folks who were longlisted!
@aquashoe13 II was probably what they wanted to do from the beginning, but hadn't yet worked out the kinks. Still, I'll always miss the Tech Point system, primarily because it gave the player more agency in how to level up towards the end of the game
Told my brother some tea a few days ago and he barely responded. Today he phoned me with very specific questions and follow ups. I love how obvious it is that he told his wife and couldn’t answer anything she wanted to know 😭
Bruce Willis told Samuel L. Jackson to find a recurring role "everybody loves" so that he'd be protected from box office flops.
“Bruce told me, 'Hopefully you’ll be able to find a character that, when you make bad movies and they don’t make any money, you can always go back to this character everybody loves,'" Jackson remembers. "He said, ‘Arnold’s got Terminator. Sylvester’s got Rocky and Rambo. I’ve got John McClane.’ I’m like, ‘Oh, okay.’ And it didn’t occur to me until I got that Nick Fury role—and I had a nine-picture deal to be Nick Fury—that, ‘Oh, I’m doing what Bruce said. I’ve got this character now.'”
When the only option to decline is "don't use our service" and/or "delete everything you've uploaded before AI even existed", then there's no consent and it shouldn't be legal. Especially when thousands of artists who uploaded have died before AI existed.
I saw a post on Reddit that said that “The underlying purpose of AI is to allow wealth to access skill while removing from the skilled the ability to access wealth.” And I don’t think I’ve ever seen AI described so incisively.
“Anyone who does not know how to pass the ball, has not yet understood the GAME.
Anyone who does not know how to live with and for others has not yet understood LIFE.”
The World Cup begins tomorrow, and many will watch the matches. Soccer reminds us of something we must not forget: life is not a race to show off on our own, but a path we learn to walk together. Anyone who does not know how to pass the ball, even if they have talent, has not yet understood the game. Anyone who does not know how to live with and for others has not yet understood life. #ApostolicJourney
Most realistic Athena depiction that I've ever seen. She is Italian so of course the Mediterranean features are there and she has a unique bone structure too.
Now that these characters are relevant, I have never had my art reposted/reuploaded so many times without credit lol.
This isnt official art, as flattering as that is, I spent a week drawing them all. I just ask you credit me if you are using it in videos/threads/reposts.
The Baker was one of the first times I had ever seen a plus size man treated as an attractive love interest. He was instantly one of my childhood crushes and I wish we had more characters like him.
Keith Haring used the New York subway as his personal laboratory between 1980 and 1985, drawing thousands of spontaneous images with white chalk on the matte black paper covering expired advertisements.
He often created these drawings in just a few minutes during a subway stop, and he viewed this process as a performance and a way to make art accessible to the general public, not just to galleries.
