@Wise Thank you, the transfer has finally completed after 10 days. Is there anything that can be done to prevent this from happening again in the future? 2 transfers that took 12 and 10 days to complete and I wouldn’t want a 3rd one like this as you can appreciate.
@Wise Second time in a row, my transfer has been held up for sanctions check. It’s been 8 days since I initiated the transfer! Last time it took more than 12 days and constant chasing to sort out! My experience with Wise as a business customer has been very unpleasant!!
@Wise I receive the same scripted response each time. I understand you have to do your checks, my concern is the time it takes to run these checks - 12 days and checks on each transfer is unacceptable! Until you can sort this out, I don’t think Wise is suited for business customers!
@Wise It’s been more than a week and I am still waiting for a refund for a transfer I cancelled. Contacted the customer service on multiple occasions and received the same scripted response. This is totally unacceptable! It’s impacting my business operations and I need the funds ASAP!

@TransferWise Thanks for your swift response and action. I was able to follow your suggestion and get an improved exchange rate. The refund was processed immediately, many thanks.
@TransferWise I have experienced this a couple of times where my transfer has been held up until the exchange rates have improved to your benefit. This usually happens on larger transfers. Could you provide an explanation please?
