@fisphophyllite@TheLgameZ Enemy encounters can be completed within 2-3 (mostly 2) turns too. Every standard encounter is consistent, so unless people are taking 5 hits every turn, I don’t know how they could be dying to the basic enemies. Some are even calling it "artificial difficulty"
@spi3lzeug And that’s completely fine. I don’t think artists should have to make anthro designs in a certain way. I don’t like the left style, but it’s popular for a reason. Not the biggest fan of the one of the right, but I get what you mean 🫡
@spi3lzeug Likewise lol. It’s hard to call that Kemono as they’re more chibi, but Aggretsuko, Chiikawa, and all that jazz is pretty much what I like the most. It’s mainly the face and eyes for me that I like. Tiny dot noses and anime eyes I prefer on an anthro design.
@spi3lzeug Same thing goes for just searching up "furry". You’re gonna typically gonna get more bland and generic designs when a looooooot more styles count as "furry". Like as you gave an example: Looney Tunes.
@spi3lzeug Though yes they do drift towards the one style, I think it’s less furry vs kemono and more this style vs this style. Which is incredibly subjective as I never liked the left style before I got more into Japanese things as a furry.
@spi3lzeug In another comment, if the furry on top is comparable to Looney Tunes I’d think the kemono is comparable to Osamu Tezuka’s style or something more recent like Oddtaxi. Which is why I prefer them. But I understand why someone wouldn’t like the most generic kemono design.
@spi3lzeug For both I think of a broader range than the two examples given, which is where I end up preferring kemonos. I think both are gonna have really generic designs where I just don’t like them as much.
Been awhile since I’ve drawn anything. Maybe I’ll get back to drawing more often (once or twice a month). Definitely regressed a little bit, but nothing I can’t get back.
2 doodles. One of my character. And the other being a drawing displaying my FFXIV character dealing with the mental struggles of running Palace of the Dead solo in FFXIV for over 120 hours with no clear.
@MadamMindscape If my art resonates with someone, to me it’s like giving someone the same feeling as the artists who I’m inspired by gave me. I’m incredibly thankful for the little amount of people who said I was an inspiration to them when I view myself as an amateur.
@MadamMindscape Honestly it’s less about numbers to me and how much conversation my art produces. Going out of your way and saying my work is cute means much more to me than numbers. Discord fills that role more compared to Twitter.
