A successful World Tourism Day #WTD2025 celebration it has been!

I thank the people of #WestNile who have hosted and been a part of numerous events leading up to this day and the activities of this very celebration.

I thank the Prime Minister @RobinahNabbanja for gracing the event on behalf of H.E the President @KagutaMuseveni as Chief Guest and bringing the sustainable transformation gospel to Arua City & West Nile as a whole.

I commend the organisers for the job well done and appreciate efforts of every individual, private entities, government MDAs and the leaders of Arua City towards making the function colorful.

As the #ExploreUgandaConcert climaxes the day’s events, it is also ushering us into exploring more of the region under the 4-day #ExploreWestNile domestic tourism promotion campaign.

Over the weekend we welcomed another mountain gorilla 🦍 birth born to adult female Migogo of the Mucunguzi gorilla group in Rushaga - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The new birth brings the total number of individuals in this family to 15 gorillas.
