Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio has been selected as the 2026 Paul “Dr. Z” Zimmerman Award recipient by the Professional Football Writers of America (PFWA).
The Dr. Z Award is given for lifetime achievement as an assistant coach in the NFL.
At a time he is poised to become a free agent next week, Denver LB Alex Singleton is set to be honored this weekend in Baltimore as the Broncos’ 2026 Ed Block Courage Award winner. Singleton was diagnosed with testicular cancer prior to the week 10 matchup vs. the Raiders, played that game, then had surgery to remove the cancer the following day before returning to action after one missed game.
@jacobinfante24 Well after that god awful game by the bears the cowboys defense put up 39 pts on my fantasy team so opening day was a nightmare now I have to make it through the week and hope next Sunday is better even though I know how it’s probably gonna go for the bears. Overall vibes are low
