About Gem 💎
We’ve seen some questions about why Gem is being released before its full use case is live.
The reason is simple: Gem is part of a bigger rollout plan.
First, we introduce Gem as a new currency in the MattleFun ecosystem. Next, we will launch the Achievement system, where players can earn Gem by completing in-game milestones.
After that, Gem will become an important currency for upcoming Guild features, where players can use the Gem they earned - or get more from the shop - to unlock special benefits and features.
We’re releasing it step by step because this makes the product path smoother, easier to understand, and easier to expand over time.
So Gem is not a random currency. It is the foundation for upcoming progression, achievements, and Guild utilities in MattleFun.
