Even the ones we view as the strongest among us need someone to talk to from time to time. Let’s use today to make sure we are checking in with the ones we love. Especially those who carry around a tough outer shell. #BellLetsTalk
Caring about mental health isn’t an extracurricular club we can show up to once every now and again. Be considerate of everyone, and if you need help, talk to someone. They’ll listen. #BellLetsTalk
If somebody says “I’m not ok”
don’t tell them how to make it better.
Listen. Learn.
Allow them to feel the pain, the hurt, with you there!
Work through it, not around it.
If you aren’t willing to do that, don’t ask how they are in the first place.

It is not always easy for someone to put the pain associated with suffering from a mental illness into words. #BellLetsTalk about how there are far too many people in this world continuing to struggle in silence. #EndTheStigma#LetsListen
#BellLetsTalk about how the unconditional love and support from those around me helped me out of my darkest time and encouraged me to speak up and get help. without having conversations like these I could still be suffering in silence
The last time I talked to a psychologist about anxiety was last summer. The last time I talked to my therapist was a week and a half ago. The last time I felt acute anxiety was today at 4:25 am. I am 1 in 5... and it’s okay if you are too. #BellLetsTalk
Last year I decided to start the conversation about my own mental struggles. Today I need us all to come together and join this conversation..I’ve decided for every retweet I will donate 10 cents to Canadian mental health initiatives. It’s time to #GetLoud🗣
