This is my life 24/7. I don’t have a “village” where I can take my daughter to when I need a break.

My daughter’s school has a full itinerary for the 3 week holiday and I’m definitely taking advantage of it for some of the days. Ngizohlanya phela this child over stimulates me so much I won’t survive these holidays without a break. And my mom being gone means I can’t ship her away to her for the holidays 😩 My dad, step mom and siblings work so nje that’s not an option either.

My daughter is also a toddler now and she is always in playful mode. I get scared to even take her to church but the few times we’ve been the congregants have been so sweet with her. They take her and embrace her as their own
