The best way I can sum up those last 20 minutes is this:
The greatest footballer of all time saw the curtain beginning to fall on his career, simply refused to accept it, and DRAGGED his team to victory.
I will never stop loving this man. Even at 39, when he should be scratching his balls on a beach somewhere, he's inspiring millions of kids around the world to never give up in the face of adversity instead. His tears are my tears.
get a haircut every 2 weeks to stay sharp, wait 5 secs before answering the phone to control the rhythm, always arrive 15 mins early, stay away from free lunches, never talk about people who aren't in the room and when anger rises, wait 10 mins before reacting. these habits may look rigid but they're the hidden discipline of the elite.
Love taught me that you can pray Tahajjud for someone, cry for them in sujood, and still wake up one day realizing that اللّه never intended for them to be yours.
That unanswered Du'a you have been making for so long, is not only turning the storm from your path, but could be so dear to Him that He keep wanting you to repeat until He decides to give it to you. So do not lose hope and keep pleading, as your Lord is listening with love.
Still can’t forget how I smiled when he saved my number as “Cubarsí” thinking I was given a unique romantic Spanish name 😭😭
I was humbled. Sai dai kawai nache Allah ya isa wallahi😭
Forgive These Things In Islam
• Forgive your parents for not loving you how you needed, but the only way they knew how. “Lord have mercy on my parents, they raised me when i was little” (17:24)
• Forgive yourself for everything you did that was bad, because Allah already forgave you. “Allah forgives all” (39:53) The past is past : keep moving & do better
• Forgive others for hurting you, because they were weak. “Humankind was created weak” (4:28) Only hurt people, hurt others
• Forgive sins that you witness around you. You don’t know what peoples’ journeys are. So don’t judge. “True judgement belongs to Allah” (6:57)
• Forgive yourself for not always being the best version of yourself. “You’re only human” (18:110) Forgive yourself to heal yourself
It's been a year, but I still remember that night of June. I called him 64 times and he didn’t answer a single call or reply to any of my text. I cried until I had nothing left in me.That night, I made a promise to Allah that I would never get attached to anyone again.
I attended a wedding yesterday.
Somewhere during the event, I was told to ask in public that one beautiful woman become my wife.
I sha asked and her waliyy consented.
