@Ashsay_ You are write but . MCC Law 2.12 allows an umpire to alter a decision only if done promptly. Once the ball is dead, it cannot subsequently be made live again (Law 20.6). A bowler’s request alone is not grounds to reverse a Wide—the decision must remain the umpire’s judgment.
