@KagutaMuseveni Well done, Mzee. Your efforts in fostering strong international partnerships continue to create opportunities for Uganda's development and prosperity.
I met the outgoing German Ambassador, H.E Matthias Schauer, and discussed matters of mutual interest between Uganda and Germany.
I thank him for his service and contribution towards strengthening the friendly relations between our two countries. I wish him a happy and fulfilling retirement.
@KagutaMuseveni Thank you, Mzee, for your unwavering commitment to modernizing agriculture and creating opportunities for Ugandan farmers to learn from global best practices.
Today, I also held discussions with H.E. Frederieke Quispel, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, on continued agricultural cooperation between Uganda and the Netherlands. She also updated me on the ongoing study tour to the Netherlands, where Ugandan farmers are gaining exposure to modern technologies and innovative farming practices.
I welcome the strong and cordial relations between Uganda and the Netherlands, which continue to advance cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
@KagutaMuseveni A true leader values friendship and partnership. Thank you, Mzee, for nurturing strong international relations while safeguarding Uganda's sovereignty and interests.
This afternoon at State House Entebbe, I met H.E. Jan Sadek, the European Union Ambassador to Uganda, and his delegation as we reflected on 50 years of partnership between Uganda and the EU.
I welcomed this long-standing collaboration and emphasized the need for Europe and other partners to support Africa’s industrialization and value-addition agenda. Africa cannot continue exporting raw materials while importing finished products if we are to achieve prosperity for our people.
A richer and more prosperous Africa is good for business, investment, and trade for both our continents. I encouraged our European friends to work with us in unlocking Africa’s enormous economic potential through value addition, industrialization, and infrastructure development.
@KagutaMuseveni Thank you, Mzee, for your statesmanship and commitment to maintaining strong diplomatic relations with friendly nations. Your leadership continues to elevate Uganda's standing on the global stage. #WhyUgDecidedM7
I received H.E. William W. Popp, the outgoing Ambassador of the United States to Uganda, at State Lodge Nakasero.
I thank Ambassador Popp for his service over the past years and for his contribution to strengthening the cordial relations between Uganda and the United States. We discussed matters of mutual interest and cooperation between our two countries.
I wish him good luck in his future assignments and endeavours.
Public leaders often demand accountability from others, but accountability must apply to everyone equally. The public deserves clear answers on assets, income sources, and wealth declarations for @JoelSsenyonyi
Transparency builds trust. Ugandans are waiting for explanations. @NinyeTabz
I congratulate the Rt. Hon. Speaker Jacob Oboth Oboth and Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa and thank the MPs for carrying out their mandate of voting, peacefully and transparently.
The NRM candidates obtained more votes than the NRM members in the House, and I note the votes our ally Mao took away. We shall address this because we want a united Parliament that serves our people better.
