@PolitlcsUK Omg, how does he know Trump doesn’t want the small talk about Manchester? It’s a great City to the people of UK, but Trump probably doesn’t even remember talking about it
@garethmillerCE@SkyNews Iran knows Trump’s term ends. The midterms show how constrained he’ll be for his final two years; then 2028 changes the equation again. Iran can keep the same objectives while deciding whether a deal now or waiting gives them more leverage
@garethmillerCE@SkyNews That’s a limited perspective, of course the mid term elections will make a difference, they will have a much better idea of what’s ahead
@baconrecon@JackieD86388657 Whatever your views on immigration, what have British people actually DONE when they believe their government is failing them or eroding their rights? That’s the point — if people won’t challenge their own government, why imagine they’d suddenly resist a foreign one?
@baconrecon@Charloch0506@JackieD86388657 Only option? rolling over for a foreign power, but how many actually fight for their rights at home? They complain, shrug and carry on. Maybe the real question isn’t whether Britain would roll over for Putin, but when people became so resigned to rolling over for anyone in power?
