@Hi_C002@JBBsg5@BigFrman@BarcaTimes Gordon was easily the worst of the lot, he got every decision he made wrong. The man didnโt even attempt to take on Marquinhos not even once! A total disgrace...
@Lez_fcb Facts, I have to agree with you. I keep saying to people that I don't have a problem of he's third in the pecking order but you (Flick) told him that he could fight for his spot so give him chances to do so.
@sire_gabriel@NealGardner_ I agree with your inverting point point but he doesn't have to operate the same as in the previous seasons with the number of progressive carries which I think will improve his game defensively. I also agree with the significance these matches have on his future at the club.
@EdwinMbaka75909@BouafifNour 2/2 . I feel like starting Espart against these two would do a number on his confidence and we'll need him for the upcoming matches so can't afford to risk that
@EdwinMbaka75909@BouafifNour I feel like starting with Balde is the better bet largely because he's a bit more experienced defensively and would better brave the brunt of the Hakimi-Doue partnership, and then bring Espart in at around the 60th minute mark when the duo has waned a bit. 1/2
@sire_gabriel@NealGardner_ I disagree. The only reason in the past two seasons Balde was seen as not disciplined defensively was because of his mandatory pseudo LW shifts. I'd rather face Doue/Kvara with Balde than with Espart at the start
@ceezybrain@just_axeli@IhejirikaS48939 True but banishing him indefinitely on the bench does zero favors to anyone tbh. All I'm saying is he still has qualities that could be useful to the squad. I get that Espart and Cancelo are ahead but there a lot of matches where he could be give 10 mins or so.
@ceezybrain@just_axeli@IhejirikaS48939 My thing is I dont think we should sell him but help him regain his form and confidence. If Cancelo has to miss an important ucl ko game because of injury or cards we might be cooked with Espart (not saying he isn't good but inexperienced)
The biggest impact Hansi Flick has made at Barcelona is not the football or the results. It is the change in mentality and culture of absolute focus. I hope the club can maintain this even after he leaves, because my biggest fear is the club going back to the era of potato training and tweeting 'pride in defeat'.
@StarryVibe1221@malananah@Ali400B Not on Ancelotti tbh, why wouldn't you play your most in form forward? Raphinha should've monitored himself better and not play the full 90 just because. He got the 10 and captain's armband so now he has to impress
@StarryVibe1221@malananah@Ali400B Nobody was pressing as much as him in the Australia match. He was pressing less than the previous friendlies but he was still one of the most ener on the pitch.
