Terrain Generation can be downright beautiful at times. Added in some parameters to make temperate forests show autumn colors. Also more shadows and depth to the terrain features. #gamedev #indiedev #terraingeneration

Map generation being derived from layers of ecological data. Each cell of the map determines how it looks based upon all of the underlying factors. Trees show up in high humidity, mountains in high elevation etc.
