This story is heartbreaking 💔
According to court reports, Henry Nowak was an 18-year-old university student in Southampton, England. On 3 December 2025, while walking home after a night out, he was st@bbed multiple times by Vickrum Digwa, a 23-year-old British man of Indian Sikh background. Prosecutors said Digwa used a ceremonial Sikh blade known as a kirpan and inflicted fatal wounds.
One of the most controversial aspects of the case was the police response. Court reporting states that when officers arrived, Digwa alleged that Nowak had racially abused him and attacked him. Based on those claims, officers initially treated Nowak as a suspect and handcuffed him despite his serious injuries. Later evidence presented in court reportedly contradicted Digwa’s account, and prosecutors described the racism allegation as false. An investigation into the police response was opened by the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
In May 2026, a jury at Southampton Crown Court found Digwa guilty of murder and of possessing a bladed article in public. Digwa’s mother, Kiran Kaur, was convicted of assisting an offender after removing the weapon from the scene.
The case received significant attention in the UK because of:
The fatal stabbing of a university student.
Allegations that police misjudged the situation and arrested the victim while he was critically injured.
I used to think unprofessional police officers are only operating in Africa. Damn! This is too much. The British police officers handcuffed a wounded victim instead of them to administer first aid immediately. Even when the victim said “i have been stabbed” they said they don't think so mate!💔
@razorblade300 This case is a horrific tragedy, and your frustration is entirely justified. The belief that police incompetence or systemic failure is exclusive to certain parts of the world is a common misconception—this incident proves that catastrophic lapses in judgment can happen anywhere.
@davidicke They're using the likes of Kenye & Fuentes to spread "antisemitism " so they could eventually pass laws against it. Also, to discredit the sane voices that criticize israel and their policies.
The Dutch government has cleared Ye (Kanye West) to perform in the Netherlands despite posting 'I am a Nazi' and saying he was going 'Defcon 3 on Jewish people'. Meanwhile, I have been banned from the Netherlands (and thus 30 countries in the Schengen group) since 2022 for the crime of agreeing to speak at a PEACE rally in Amsterdam. Apparently I am 'antisemitic' even though the man who invited me was Jewish. The 'antisemitic' claim has since been withdrawn and now I am just a 'threat to democracy' and a 'threat to public order'.
I don't believe in banning people, but the contrast is stunning. Indeed - insane.
