@bylucaevans I was noticing that in the stat line. Any obvious reason why, after so much draft day hype, he’s not seeming to live up to so far? Of course, he’s got time!
@andygreder Fitz needs to buy in more on defense. The hole behind him (where those free kicks were taken…) is massive, and giving Chicago all kinds of joy.
@andygreder@tombogert His value is closely tied to his speed and movement, including in the press. At 25, that will decline in the next 2-3 years, which limits his sell on value, however intelligent his decision making and rapid his recent growth. 8 million tops.
@ByPatForde I like the top 9 (though might reorder it some) because each redefined greatness in their sport relative to peers of that era. Nobody who doesn’t meet that criteria should jump into that range. Are Ledecky, Hamilton, others that legendary in their spheres? Genuinely don’t know
@byzantiumcast Been with you since the beginning. Patreon supporter. Went to Istanbul years before you ran tours and had you in my ear the whole time. What a ride! Thank you! And the outro music…chef’s kiss.
@KABrown205@TabithaK TBF, we’re not whipping it up, lol. We’re straight terrified! We just don’t believe the math here works and lots will get hurt because of it. If it works, I hope I’d have the candor and humility to admit so and be glad for the USA. If I’m right, I hope the USA votes for more Dems
@KABrown205@TabithaK I think that’s worth distinguishing. Lots of people got cuts, good point. Most of the $ went to rich people, which worries me more.
As for the bill, mine isn’t mere guess but you’re right that those programs aren’t cut yet. Just can’t see how they get there without them. Do you?
@KABrown205@TabithaK No, the vast majority of those cuts were for rich people, despite the other stuff. And Medicaid and SNAP are in the bill. The Committees that write their appropriations are required to reduce by $100s billions, and only those cuts will get to those #s. It’s scary cause it’s true.
@KABrown205@TabithaK The facts are the House Republicans- except Massie- voted last night to extend rich people’s tax cuts while reducing over $1 trillion of funds to the Committees that appropriate funds for Medicaid and food stamps (and poor schools and more). Hope that helps.
@1Anniston@Alandriel1972@TabithaK Those are the exact numbers in the budget blueprint passed by the House last night, and voted in by every R, except Massie from KY-4.
@scuffedpod He’s also been so much cleaner in recent games. Fewer bonehead mf turnovers. Better ball striking on short-medium passes (used to be a consistent problem). Needed to improve, and has, and that’s awesome, since so many just stay at their current level.
