@MBureaucrats CAPF Act 2026 is worst decision by far. The IPS wants the top posts without facing the hardships & grind of junior levels. They have no experience of border management when they join as DIG/ IG or DGP. Clearly the CAPF cadre will be demoralized and it will create inefficiency.

@AsifNaik It is the Army that leads the counter terrorism operations in J&K. They JKP could not restore the adverse law & order situation in those days, that is why Army was called. The issue here is about the incompetence of civil servants, not the number count of martyrs.

@RattanRC CAPF Act, 2026 is the worst decision by far. CAPF are for border guarding & specialized security roles. They require greater synergy with Army, both in war and peace. CAPF should have their own cadres at the helm not IPS, who have no understanding of their ethos, culture & work
