That isnāt what Iāve said at allš¤
I think there needs to be a clearer and fairer solution for all clubs within the football pyramid (worldwide) but the idea of allowing these state ownership entities, hedge fund investment companies and multi-billionaire playboys, the freedom to spend without restrictionā¦is imo not going to solve the current perceived or actual unfairness, to level the playing field at all.
If anything - it will create an even bigger gulf between clubs at the top and the rest of the clubs and leagues below them.
With that also comes greater risks of money laundering and even state sponsored criminal activities - ticket and match day prices would soar and eventually, the average hard-working class person will be priced out of being able to afford to even go to a football match - because the elites of this world have made our beautiful game even more corporate than it is now.
All that legal crap is what makes up our laws - it was part of your job as a law enforcement officer to know those laws - not just wing it because you couldnāt be arsed.
This is why our police force are mostly incompetent robotsā¦a mightier than thou ego and a complete lack of knowledge and integrity when it comes to knowing their actual legal responsibilities.
What a genius idea it was to limit entry to graduates and academics only, that really paid off š¤¦āāļø
Zero common sense, zero world experience and a vast amount of you with a superiority complex behind the uniform.
About as much use as a chocolate fireguard.
The only point youāve proven soft ladā¦is that you are only worried about what happens to your own club and youāve verified your double standards in practically gloating about how your club would potentially be in a far superior financial position.
So basically you want the drawbridge to be lowered - so you can get inā¦throw out those that canāt compete financially and pull up the drawbridge againā¦leaving the other 17 clubs in the same position you feel that your club is in at the momentā¦and we are supposed to believe all the victimology and crying that you just want whatās best for the league and it to be a level playing field?
Have a day off fella š
So you want the rules changed so that the likes of Newcastle, City and Villa can spend as much as they want?
So you want to change the narrative from a Big 6 to a Big 3 cartel - just because it benefits your club but fucks over the other 17 clubs currently in the league and completely destroys any hope of any promoted clubs from being able to compete?
Sounds, like you need some lessons in morality and blatant double standards.
Hahahaha - a city fan giving out morality lessonsā¦Iāve seen it all now š¤
Alsoā¦it might have been a good idea to read the contents of the letter you posted - because if you knew anything about the concept of FFP you would know that it was UEFA who brought in FFP after deciding it was needed back in 2006.
The letter even states to bring the PL in line with UEFA FFP guidelines.
Your ignorance is obvious and blatant for everyone to see and the narrative youāre trying so hard to push is only because you are a supporter of one of the clubs that are state owned or have incredibly rich owners - what about fairness for the clubs that donāt have massively wealthy owners - how would it be fair to let clubs like yours, Newcastle and Villa operate without boundaries - leaving 17 other clubs or at least 12 if you take out the so-called other big 5ā¦never being able to compete in your so called level playing field?
Why do your morals disintegrate when what you want - will make it even more unfair for most of the clubs in the leagueā¦and especially for any clubs that are promoted each year.
You bemoan there apparently being a cartel in the Premier league and yet what you want to see would create an even more powerful and elite league within the league - where the same 3 teams would be fighting over 1st, 2nd and 3rd every seasonā¦without question.
You either want the club to spend on the targets the Manager has asked for or you donāt - you canāt have both.
So many in this fanbase have always got to find a negative in anything positive - just support the club and its playersā¦thatās our job as fans/supporters - not worry about the accountancy behind it all.
The clubās job is to provide a good squad of players, that can hopefully play well and be successful on the field ā this metric is what we should judge them on.
ā¦and this is where they have failed miserably over the past 6-8 years at least ā¦in either not putting the money up for the right players or putting less money up for the wrong onesā¦these are all reoccurring recruitment decisions that have been made over the years and the failure to change this approach to recruitment boundaryās, is why we are where we are as a club right now.
@daveydubya@AnasFTL@mistarghhhhbone So we end up haggling for weeks or months and then not getting it done???
This has been the approach for so many years and itās been proved that it doesnāt work.
This fanbase does my head in - moan if we are not spending and then moan if we areā¦you canāt have it both ways!
You do realise the ESL was an attempt to replace the UEFA competitions - not the domestic leagues?
So explain how the 6 teams that signed up for that disaster proposal were leaving English football.
I suggest you do some research about why UEFA chose to bring in FFP 20 years ago, instead of just throwing around nonsense like itās toys from your pram.
Your owners need to do what Spurs did - build infrastructure to eventually increase club global profile and with it, commercial revenues.
There should be no shortcuts like Chelsea and City benefitted fromā¦and you all go on about fair playing fieldsā¦what about all the clubs below you that donāt have rich owners and canāt spend because they donāt have itā¦is it fair on those clubs - that you would be able to without the current rules?
šØšŖšŗ Elon Musk just absolutely cooked the unelected EU boss on "democracy" ā and she had no answer.
Von der Leyen loves lecturing everyone about "defending democracy" while holding a top job nobody voted for.
Musk dropped the truth bomb:
"If democracy is the foundation of freedom, surely your position as leader of the EU should be elected directly by the people?"
Boom. No spin, no excuses ā just facts. The EU elite hates real democracy. They prefer power without accountability.
What's your response to this......??š
Do you firmly support Elon Musk on this?
A. Huge Yes
B. No
IF Yes, Give me a THUMBS-UPš!!
Share this if youāre tired of globalist bureaucrats telling free nations what to do. š„
Mateā¦I donāt take umbrage to anything or anyone - youāre just boring now.
For the recordā¦you didnāt make any points, just your own opinions dressed up as facts and I called you out on it.
Since then youāve doubled down on everything and yet each time completely avoided what has been pointed out to you multiple timesā¦the fact that you are a hypocrite with double standards and certainly not a covert one.
You are the one that is desperately trying to silence others because they donāt agree with your nonsense and childish comments. Telling me to keep my opinions to myself; or not to read if I donāt like it - even complaining about the OP having the audacity to post what he did in the first placeā¦is the very definition of not liking others to talk.
You obviously cannot cope with being criticised, held to account or even recognise the level of your own hypocrisy in all of your replyās so farā¦
Maybe you should go have a little lie down, rest your weary head and then hopefully you will wake up and smell what youāre shovellingā¦little man.
Wow - youāre just a clusterf*ck of contradictory statements.
First giving opinions then doesnāt like others giving theirs.
Follows that gem with this pure gold ⦠āIf you donāt like it donāt read itā¦simplesā
Then moans about the OP spouting nonsense.
Doubles down on childish name calling and opinions by trying to take the moral high ground with a self righteous attitude of superior intellect on the subject.
You really should think about what you post Kieron - or at least practice what you preach.
Maybe try not being so condescending and patronising to other people and they wonāt pull you up on your hypocrisy and make you throw your toys out of your pramā¦
@kieronberealj@John_EdwardsUK Hmm š¤ Donāt like other people having opinions but uses social media platform to state his opinions.
Are you sure youāre not a bit more Keir than Kier? š¤¦āāļø
