Big discovery on Rotten Tomatoes for The Odyssey.
The real audience score is sitting at 56%, not the fake 97% they’re showing with their “Verified Audience” bullshit.
A r/KotakuInAction user figured out how to see the actual numbers behind RT’s manipulation.
Exactly what we’ve been saying. Real people are dragging this butchered mess, but Rotten Tomatoes is bending over backwards to protect it.
Classic.
Rotten Tomatoes just permanently torched its credibility.
The Odyssey: 97% audience score. “Beating LOTR: Return of the King.”
Meanwhile both other major review platforms for Odyssey are:
Metacritic users: 5.3.
Letterboxd: 4.3.
You don’t get a 50-point gap between platforms unless someone’s curating the numbers.
The score isn’t a rating anymore, it’s become an ad slot for the highest bidder.
There's just no way the actual audience rating is 97% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Metacritic has the movie at a 5.3/10 user score, Letterboxd has it at 4.3 and IMDB has it at 8.3/10.
Rotten Tomatoes is removing negative reviews at the behest of the studio.
@_Lars_Johnson_ I was expecting the bots to enter the chat. Saw the same gameplay during alien earth, gaslighting everyone into believing it was good 😂
Most people haven’t had an original thought in years. Every empty second gets fed to a screen.
Your brain is being held hostage by modern life and every year you don’t take it back, a little more of you goes missing.
Solution is simple. Reduce your life to 6 things:
- Walking 3x a day. No audio. Your ancestors didn’t forage with a podcast on.
- Working/Creating > Consuming.
- Reading spiritual masterpieces. Osho. Michael Singer. Books that read you back.
- Exercise that feels like play. Tennis, biking, rollerblading, swimming. Barefoot in the sun outdoors. No grounding mats or red light “therapy”.
- Low-stimulation hands work. Foraging herbs. Writing. Gardening. Building things.
- Direct human interaction. Eye contact. No group chat. Voice notes > texting.
And critical: No scrolling. No TV. No noise piped into your skull on a walk.
Intentional boredom.
That’s the whole protocol.
Your brain has been renting out every quiet moment to someone else’s content.
Evict them.
Within two weeks your brain starts producing its own content again.
That kid-version of you that had ideas and vibes and noticed things — he’s still in there. He’s just been outbid by an algorithm.
Silence is the original nootropic.
Your immune system was built for a world with teeth.
Andrographis and astragalus have been training it for 2,000 years.
One is so bitter Scandinavians used it to ruin moonshine. The other held up traditional Chinese formulas for centuries.
I keep both on hand every season I’m in the bush, especially in long grass with the ticks running amuck.
Not medical advice. The forest doesn’t do disclaimers.
Cheat code for life: become difficult to rush.
Walk 25% slower. Eat like you have nowhere to be. Slowmaxx every conversation.
Cool, calm, collected.
Dead giveaway someone is still plugged into the system is frantic energy.
Reject the tempo.
Speed is how they contain you.
@HazelAppleyard@HelloFresh For a moment I want you have a good laugh over all the cucked YouTubers and podcasters who rely on relentlessly shilling Hello Fresh on their show for a sponsorship deal.
@CryptoMikli Enjoying a beer and watching the big game with the boys on the weekend is the least of the concern. Let people enjoy themselves.
I'd care more about what they're doing outside the weekend fun, on what their purpose in life is. Let people breathe a little.
@KawhiElite@SynthPotato I wasn’t impressed at all with the hunting mechanics. You can shoot 7 arrows into an animal and it literally just stands there. Really put me off. Compared to RDR2 where the animals actually do what they would in real life and run lol
