@PGASouth @ThePGA I don’t need guidance on the subject...my club, The Essex does! I’m staying at home until you can tell me the insurance would cover me coaching and that me coaching 6 people a day is allowed whilst golfers can play with only one other per day.

@mrdanwalker @sallynugent please mention that professional shops should be closed as they are non essential retail. Insurance will be invalid and clubs will be in breach of the law.

Not good @ThePGA @EnglandGolf With hrs until opening & because there wasn’t a clear answer it became do what you want! Possibly leaving pro shops open in breach of law and pro’s unclear on coaching and the related insurance cover. Why not say ‘we’re not sure so hold fire’

@Bigally26 @EnglandGolf I agree the risk will be around for years. Why increase the risk all at once? Courses tomorrow, ranges in 2 weeks...
Just good luck to you all. Look at IG and booking systems crashing, courses and ranges will be swamped tomorrow. Distancing will last 5 mins

@EnglandGolf I get all of that, I really do...but it won’t be realistic. Ranges and shops open increases risk. Why can’t we settle for courses only for 2 weeks...watch the r rate
And club golfers being allowed to play with one person but coaches being allowed to play with multiple is a joke.

@EnglandGolf If between you you drop coaching, ranges & pro shops everyone can get on and plan. This would require the gate to be open, the course to be marshalled & risk would be low. Stick a range, a pro shop and lessons in & risk increases.

@EnglandGolf The PGA and @EnglandGolf have been greedy all along! Desperate to get ranges and coaching included in the government’s reopening of golf. How can a player be expected to play with 1 outside household member but it’s ok for pros to coach or play with 6-8 people per day?
