2. Your protein/moisture balance is shot to hell..

You can't have moisture without protein. It just doesn't work. 1 cannot exist in the hair without the other

When protein is deficient, moisture will not hold because your hair cuticle isn't in tact #NaturalhairChat RT THIS

When you don't clarify your hair, you stop any additional moisture from penetrating your hair strand because it's clogged with old product.
