BofA initiated coverage of IonQ $IONQ with a Buy rating and $60 price target

The firm says IonQ is the largest public pure-play quantum company by revenue. IonQ has used acquisitions to accelerate its quantum-compute roadmap and expand into quantum networking, security, sensing, space and foundry services, the analyst tells investors in a research note.

BofA likes IonQ's semiconductor-enabled path to scaling qubit count, broad customer engagement and exposure across quantum computing, communications and sensing.
