@BashirHashiysf you are the best! This picture brings all kinds of existential issues to my mind. Will this child have a peaceful childhood, and live in a peaceful Tigray? Or will he belong to yet another generation that must fend off the next genocidal onslaught on Tigray?
Today, we had a productive discusion with the team from CGGC of #China on #Mekelle (Giba) Water supply development project. The aim of their visit is to see the status of the project and find a right way to restart the project at the earliest time possible.
News: #Ethiopian refugees trapped in #Sudan in peril as aid workers flee continued fighting https://t.co/ePo9p8e6cM
“We are worried about our safety, food, and other basic humanitarian aid because most of the aid workers are leaving the refugee camps,” Henok Askale, 28, who fled #Humera, western #Tigray in 2020 and has since been living in the #Tunaydbah camp, told Addis Standard.

Many thanks to H.E PM Abiy Ahmed Ali for presenting me with a certificate of recognition for supporting the Ethiopia peace process. Together with all my colleagues in the UN family in Ethiopia we appreciate this recognition of the work of the UN, as this was by no means an individual effort. We applaud the actions of the Federal Government and key political stakeholders in engaging directly and owning the effort to promote peace and reconciliation in this beautiful country and wish the Government and People of Ethiopia every success in this endeavor.
You have no idea what you are talking about. The only reason that I hope for peace is not that what the Amhara did to the Tigrayan people is forgotten or forgiven. It is a matter of choosing between 2 evils. If I were you; I would keep a very low profile.
@USEmbassyAddis These are not leaders, these are criminals who have committed genocide against Amhara and Afar people. Many women and girls were gang raped by their direct orders. Getachew was loudly saying they will revenge for what ever is done in Tigray and these heinous crimes happened .
"We are writing this letter today to condemn the escalation of violence in Sudan and call on all actors in the regional and international community to take urgent and meaningful actions to ensure an immediate halt to the war" @gender_security@WomensPeaceNW 1/2
Our sister @Nima elbagir. A CNN reporter originally from Sudan has been one of the people who has been affected by the war in Sudan. Of course she has her family and her Sudanese people who has been a victim of the war.

Yes, but healing starts with justice. There cannot be healing without justice. The injustice that Tigrayans have been subjected to cannot be easily redressed. The perpetrators must be held accountable and brought to justice. Let´s begin there #JusticeForTigrayans
Let us work on healing. Let us heal together. It needs the participation of all of us. Whatever the politics is, healing endeavors should be initiated. Heal the children, heal the youth, heal the women, heal the elderlies, heal the physically infirm, heal the physically healthy.
An important question to #ABiy? When will this blockade end? When will the Eritrean mercenaries leave Ethiopian soil? When will the genocide against #Tigray, particularly the ethnic cleansing of minorities the #IrobAndKunama end?
To be honest, let´s focus on the support for the reconstruction of Tigray. We can discuss their collaboration with the genociders when the time comes. We should all be occupied with preserving as many Tigrayan lives as possible.
