VIDEO | Beed, Maharashtra: 47-year-old mother Ramabai Ranveer, who works as a cook at an academy in Ambajogai, wins 'Amrit Daud' marathon organised by a local organisation to support her daughters' education.

Originally from Hingoli district, Ramabai took responsibility for raising her two daughters after her husband's death. Despite financial hardships, she remained determined to provide them a good education. She enrolled her elder daughter at an academy in Ambajogai and began working there as a cook to support the family. She recently participated in marathon and won the first prize of Rs 3,000.

Ramabai and her daughter speak about her journey, determination and her commitment to her daughters' education.

अयोध्येतील श्रीराम मंदिराच्या हुंडीत जमा होणारे दान, देणगी स्वरूपात येणारा निधी, दागदागिने यांचा कुठलाही धड हिशोब राखला जात नाहीये, आणि त्यात अपहार झाल्याची स्पष्ट शक्यता वर्तवली जात आहे. या सगळ्याचा तपास करणाऱ्या एसआयटीनेच त्यांच्या प्राथमिक अहवालात याची पुष्टी केली, काही आरोपी पकडले गेले.
बातमी आलेल्या दिवसापासून यावर काही लिहावं असं वाटत होतं परंतू प्रकरण कसं पुढे सरकतंय आणि बातमीच्या ओळींमागे काय लपलंय ते जरा पहात होतो .

या विषयवार देशाचे पंतप्रधान श्री. नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी त्यांचं प्रसिद्ध मौन बाळगलं आहे. श्री. नरेंद्र मोदीच काय पण भारतीय जनता पक्षाचे सरकारमध्ये मंत्री पदावर असलेली एकही व्यक्ती अवाक्षर काढत नाहीये. प्रभू रामचंद्रांचं नाव घेऊन जे सत्तेच्या सिंहासनावर आरूढ झाले त्यांना या अपहाराविषयी काहीच वाटत नाही ? दुसऱ्या पक्षाचे खासदार, आमदार, पदाधिकारी यांची पळवापळवी करता करता या सगळ्याची इतकी सवय झाली किंवा मन कोडगं झालंय की देवाच्या दारात झालेल्या भक्तांच्या दानाच्या पळवापळवीचं पण काही वाटणं बंद झालं आहे का ? का अयोध्या ज्या लोकसभा मतदारसंघात येतं तिथेच २०२४ मध्ये भाजपला लोकांनी नाकारले म्हणून रामाला पुन्हा वनवासात ढकललं जात आहे?

अयोध्येत राममंदिर उभं राहिलं तेंव्हा या देशातील कोट्यवधी हिंदूंना परमोच्च आनंद झाला होता. आपल्या मर्यादापुरुषोत्तमाच्या जन्मस्थानाच्या जागी देऊळ पाडून, काही शतकांपूर्वी तिथे मस्जिद उभारली गेली. पुढे अनेक शतकं हिंदूंच्या मनाला या गोष्टीचा खेद होता. पुढे १९८० च्या दशकांत विश्व हिंदू परिषद आणि इतर संघटनांनी रामजन्मभूमी आंदोलन उभं केलं. आपल्या सांस्कृतिक आणि धार्मिक अस्मितेसाठी देशातील हिंदू या आंदोलनाच्या मागे उभा राहिला. सामान्य हिंदू माणसांनी या आंदोलनाला आर्थिक बळ दिलं, करसेवकांनी सेवा दिली, इतकंच काय असंख्य करसेवकांचा जीव यांत गेला. शरयू नदीत तरंगणारी त्यांची शवं आज देखील स्मरणात आहेत.

हे आंदोलन कुठल्या एका संघटनेचं नव्हतं किंवा फक्त भारतीय जनता पक्षाचं नव्हतं (जरी त्यांचा तसा दावा असला तरी ), त्यात शिवसैनिक पण मोठ्या संख्येने सहभागी होते, इतकंच नाही तर अग्रेसर होते. पण हिंदू पुनुरुत्थानासाठी झालेल्या आंदोलनाचं श्रेय आपण घ्यावं असं त्यावेळच्या एकाही नेत्याला वाटलं नाही, अगदी बाळासाहेबांना पण वाटलं नाही.

पुढे सर्वोच्च न्यालयालयाने निवाडा दिला. मशिदीच्या जागी राम मंदिर उभारायचा मार्ग मोकळा झाला. पण मंदिरात जेंव्हा रामलल्लाच्या प्राणप्रतिष्ठापनेची वेळ आली तेंव्हा मात्र पंतप्रधानांनी एकट्याने त्याची पूजा केली. तेंव्हा गाभाऱ्यात मात्र इतर कोणीही नव्हतं. जर देवावर तुमचा विशेषाधिकार असेल तर त्याच देवाच्या हुंडीतल्या अपहाराबद्दल बोलण्याची, लोकांना आश्वस्त करण्याची तुमची जबाबदारी नाही का ?

मुळात अयोध्येतील राममंदिर हे या देशातील कोट्यवधी हिंदूंचं, साधू संतांचं आणि करसेवकांचं आहे. इथे देणगी म्हणून किंवा श्रद्धा म्हणून लोकं जेंव्हा पैसे किंवा दागिने, सोनं अर्पण करतात तेंव्हा त्या पैशाला कष्टाच्या घामाचा गंध असतो आणि श्रद्देचं कवच असतं. सोनं, दागिने अर्पण करताना असंख्य महिला भक्तांनी त्यांच्याकडे चालत आलेलं स्त्रीधन अर्पण केलेलं असू शकतं. जे काही आहे ते श्रीरामामुळे आहे या भावनेतून भक्तांनी दाखवलेली ही कृतज्ञता.

परंतु मला एक गोष्ट समजत नाही की या आपल्या सर्व देवी देवतांच्या मुर्त्यांची प्रतिष्ठापना करताना म्हणे त्यात प्राण फुंकले जातात आणि मग प्रतिष्ठापना झाल्याचे सांगतात. त्या आमच्या देवी देवतांच्या हातात तलवारी, धनुष्य बाण, गदा, चक्र वगैरे शस्त्रं जी असतात तेच या नराधमांचा बंदोबस्त का नाही करत ? की या प्राण असलेल्या भक्तांमधे दगड फुंकला आहे ? आपण श्रद्धेने दिलेले दान देवाला न जाता विश्वस्त आणि पुजाऱ्यांच्याच खिशात आणि घशात जातं हे पुन्हा एकदा या निमित्ताने भक्तांना समजलं असेल असं मी मानतो ! देवी देवतांची पूजा करा पण या विश्वस्तांची आणि या मार्गाने राजकारण करणाऱ्याची पूजा करू नका आणि कोणतही (दान ) या लोकांच्या पदरात टाकू नका !

I am asking repeatedly. This is very very important.

Why should a RAC passenger bear full charge for 50% of a side lower seat? Isn't it unfair?

Once the chart is prepared, Railways must refund 50% of the fare with interest for RAC passengers. The same source of payment can be used for the refund.

Pls implement this immediately. I see many ladies and senior citizens who travel by RAC, without sleep and they pay full charge.

If any of you reading this feel that this should be implemented immediately, comment with your thoughts and share until Railways makes it a fair deal for passengers.

This is long long overdue.

मी २ दिवसांपूर्वी, माझे मित्र आणि एक उत्तम दिग्दर्शक महेश मांजरेकर यांचा, 'पुन्हा शिवाजीराजे भोसले' हा चित्रपट पाहिला... समकालीन सिनेमा हा शब्द सहज वापरला जातो पण तो अनेकदा असतोच असं नाही... पण खरा समकालीन, किंवा आत्ताच्या परिस्थितीवरचा चित्रपट बघायचा असेल तर 'पुन्हा शिवाजीराजे भोसले' या चित्रपटाला पर्याय नाही...

आज फक्त मोठे मोठे महामार्ग, पूल (ज्यावर काही महिन्यात खड्डे पडतात ) आणि चमकदार घोषणा म्हणजे 'विकास' अशी कल्पना सत्ताधाऱ्यांनी रुजवली आहे. यांत बाकी कोणाचा विकास होतो की नाही माहित नाही पण सत्ताधाऱ्यांचा विकास नक्की होतो. हे केलं आणि धर्माच्या नावावर लोकांना आंधळं केलं की मग शेतकरी असो की इथला मराठी माणूस यांना हवं तसं वापरून फेकून द्यायला हे मोकळे.

या राज्यातील शेतकरी तर पार हतबल आहे. एका बाजूला पाऊस झोडपतो आणि दुसऱ्या बाजूला सरकारी यंत्रणा अनास्थेने झोडपते.. याच महाराष्ट्रातल्या शेतकऱ्यांच्या मुलांना एकत्र करून छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांनी हिंदवी स्वराज्य उभं केलं, त्याच महाराष्ट्रातील शेतकरी आत्महत्या करतो हे भीषण दुर्दैव आहे. एका बाजूला ग्रामीण भागात शेतकऱ्याला इतकं जेरीस आणायचं की त्याला जमीन विकावीच लागेल आणि दुसरीकडे शहरात मराठी माणसांनाच घरं नाकारायची, त्यांच्या भाषेचा अपमान करणाऱ्यांना अभय द्यायचं, त्यांनी काय खायचं ? काय नाही खायचं यावर बंधन आणणऱ्यांचे लाड करायचे हे सुरु आहे.

हे सगळं मराठी माणसाला दिसत नाहीये का ? दिसत असेल ही... पण जोपर्यंत तुमच्या मनात याविरोधात चीड निर्माण होणार नाही, आग निर्माण होणार नाही, तोपर्यंत परिस्थिती बदलणं सोडा अजून भीषण होईल. या सिनेमातून ही चीड महेश मांजरेकर, त्यांचे कलाकार आणि त्यांचे लेखक यांनी उत्तम मांडली आहे. हा फक्त चित्रपट नाही तर या टीमच्या मनातील अस्वस्थता आहे. ही अस्वस्थता महाराष्ट्रातील जनतेने अनुभवयाला हवी. त्यासाठी माझं तुम्हाला आवाहन आहे की 'पुन्हा शिवाजीराजे भोसले' हा चित्रपट जरूर पहा...

The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has decided to extend the due date of furnishing of Return of Income under sub-Section (1) of Section 139 of the Act for the Assessment Year 2025-26, which is 31st October 2025 in the case of assessees referred in clause (a) of Explanation 2 to sub-Section (1) of Section 139 of the Act, to 10th December 2025.

The 'specified date' of furnishing of the report of audit under the provisions of the Income-tax Act, 1961, for the Previous Year 2024-25 (Assessment Year 2025-26) is further extended to 10th November 2025.
