Big, corporate landlords REMOVE money from the local economy: if they were removed, rents normalized for cost of living, and paying your rent counted toward personal credit, I am confident we would see reduced poverty, stronger small/medium businesses, + a healthier #NewBrunswick
$1B surplus for @Gov_NB. For @premierbhiggs to hit this hoarding grave...i mean milestone...it only cost:
Multiple ER waiting room deaths, a population giving up on mental + physical healthcare access, the future of our province...and the title of poorest province.
worth it? ๐
@MADDFredericton I cannot understand why placing a shock piece near a busy roundabout isnโt a safety hazard/distraction. Also Iโm sure the people most affected by this campaign are NOT your target audience: This is trauma inducing and not helpful to your cause. Please reconsider.
Anyone know why @saintjohnpolice are blocking all highways and roads west/out of SJ? Friend is stranded trying to get back to Freddy #saintjohn#Fredericton
Ignoring Indigenous issues is ONLY possible because of systemic racism designed to erase them. Canada is built such that itโs not only possible but PREFERABLE to ignore the genocide: to change it requires ripping up Canada as it is by the roots and starting over. Letโs get busy.
Iโve never seen my wife so mentally and physically exhausted as she was today when she came home from work. Respectfully, @DominicCardy, the conditions teachers are working in during this heatwave are unacceptable. No fans, no A/C or even air exchange systems. #nbpoli#NB
What baffles me most is that, in an era where so many believe their opinions have as much weight and value as fact, so few appear to feel they hold the burden of accountability for their words and actions.
@TheFwordNB Itโs frustrating and Iโve had my share of words for them however the positive impact they are having for local restaurants in these difficult times canโt be understated with some in Fredericton being able to open second north side locations as well. Itโs worth it imho
