It's Groundhog Day. Until last night, I had never watched a political speech more than once. We have a very different President delivering very different results and, as a results-oriented guy, I can't imagine ever getting tired of this kind of winning. https://t.co/aEJaUzkY5P

Another political relative? John Hodgson Elswick was elected to the House of Parliament July 30th, 1830 to represent Newcastle-on-Tyne. The back of this antique medal reads: "He is our choice and we will be faithful. His interest is ours. Always ready." Am I ready? Absolutely!

Becky and I pray that you enjoy and value your friends and family as you celebrate today. As we prepare for the New Year and reflect on the year past, let's take time to observe and appreciate how blessed we are to live in this great country! Merry Christmas from the Elswicks!

Florida House Bill 9, sponsored by Larry Metz, defines and prohibits sanctuary policies, repeals existing sanctuary policies, and describes penalties for violations. I absolutely support this bill and encourage us all to express our support to our elected state representatives.

Good meeting tonight with the South Lake Republican Club. We obviously need more talented volunteers because I am apparently the chair of our new Marketing and Communications Committee. Anyone willing to help me with this important job? I'm going to need it.

Met with Florida House Speaker Designate Jose Oliva last week. Our party leadership is strong and positioned well for ongoing success.

It was good to see Bruce Rueben and Tony Carvelho in Tallahassee yesterday. Healthcare financing in Florida will continue to be a challenge.

Congrats to Walter Price & the Lake Co. REC on a great Lincoln/Regan dinner. Congressman Ron DeSantis & Dinesh D'Souza were great speakers!

I'm back to work today after a great 2-week vacation and family reunion. A wonderful family is just one of the many blessings in my life.
