My daughter came to my study last night and asked me for some soothing words for her Jewish friend who is afraid because of Hamas’ global call for Jihad tomorrow. I tried to contextualize her fears by reminding her what we went through in Lebanon. We lived relatively free from these worries for decades in Canada. No longer true.
