📚👻No spooky season is complete without the perfect book--creepy, but not scary, just right for a night cuddled up by the fire. And I've got just the one!
Join me on Storytime for Grownups as we read The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux.🎭

Hi there! It’s been a long time, but I’ve come back to share some big news. I’ve got a new book coming out October 2nd! It’s a romantic comedy called Wooing Jane, and it would mean the world to me if you would pre-order a copy. You can find more info here: https://t.co/Cr40L7czK5
@Fair_and_Biased@michaeljknowles He thinks completely ignoring the evil spewing from canace and pretending not to notice is the best way to support erika? Pathetic. Is that how he handles the left? Obviously not
In her episode yesterday (Ep. 288), Candace Owens mentioned both my accident and the letter I sent her in Sep. 2024, a couple of months before my fall. She called it an "open article" instead of what it was — a letter written to her challenging some of what she had been saying with documented facts, in some cases from her own sources, and weeks later made public after discussing it with her in a phone conversation. She characterized it (at approx. 9:40 in the video) as "not done in a very nice way.”
Here is the letter. I encourage everyone to read it and decide for yourself whether that characterization was accurate or fair.

If you claim to support human rights yet can’t bring yourself to show solidarity with those fighting for their liberty in Iran, you’ve revealed yourself. You don’t give a damn about people being oppressed and brutalised so long as it’s being done by the enemies of your enemies.
🚨 Ben Shapiro goes SCORCHED EARTH at TPUSA on “frauds”, “grifters”, and “charlatans” Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens
He blasts Megyn Kelly for her “cowardice” for refusing to stand up for the truth and condemn Candace’s conspiracy theories and lies

What to expect when dealing with a narcissist:
1. Defensiveness and Denial
A narcissist rarely admits fault. Instead of acknowledging the truth, they may:
•Deny the facts outright (“That’s not true.”)
•Twist the situation to make you seem mistaken (“You misunderstood what I meant.”)
•Gaslight you into doubting yourself (“You’re overreacting.”)
2. Rage or Aggression
Being proven wrong punctures their ego, so they might lash out:
•Raise their voice, insult, or mock you
•Accuse you of being “disrespectful” or “dramatic”
•Turn others against you to reassert dominance
This is often called narcissistic rage—a defense mechanism to restore control and avoid shame.
3. Playing the Victim
If outright aggression doesn’t work, they may shift tactics:
•Act hurt or betrayed (“I can’t believe you’d attack me like that.”)
•Try to guilt you into backing down
•Seek sympathy from others, painting you as the unreasonable one
4. Retaliation or Smear Campaign
If the narcissist feels deeply humiliated, they may try to “get even”:
•Spread rumors or half-truths
•Undermine your reputation
•Sabotage relationships or work situations
What You Can Do
•Stay calm. Don’t argue or try to convince them—you won’t win by logic.
•Set boundaries. Protect your peace; disengage when necessary.
•Don’t internalize their reaction. Their anger or manipulation isn’t a reflection of your worth.
