Literally one vaccine centre put in the middle of one of the biggest counties and basically no restrictions on people coming in from the north the past year, the forgotten county only remembered when they want to criticise it, Donegal let down for years by the suits in Dublin
@Aldi_Ireland@Aldi_Ireland how it started 2011 vs now 2021, 9 years later 1 dog, 1 daughter. We should be getting married March 2021. Postponed to April 2022 thanks to covid. But silver linings, baby number 2 on the way this summer 👶🏼🤍 #AldiWeddingAisle
Eamon Ryan speaks of reducing travel restrictions to 2km if figures dont improve. Spoken like a true Dub - 2km in most parts of rural Ireland wouldn't see you clear the windscreen on a frosty morning. Green? I'd say he's fairly green alright!!!

I just found out that if you text ‘HOME’ to 741741 when you are feeling depressed or suicidal, a crisis counselor will text you. This is super important for people who don’t like talking on the phone. AND, it’s free. Pls RT to help someone, you never know who needs it. ❤️
The reality is that whatever Taoiseach, Tainaiste, Tony Holohan or NPHET say it’s on us now. It actually doesn’t matter what level your county is on. You need to do the same things. Limit your contacts, wear a mask, don’t congregate in crowded spaces inside.
Masks need to be mandatory with fines for not wearing them. Dp centres closed. Meat factories closed. Schools moved online with laptops supplied by the government. And a proper lockdown until 0 cases. All flights in and out of the country stopped. Or else we continue to do this
A large amount of cases? In a county that has seen thousands of visitors from areas that have been badly affected by COVID for the past three months? And bordering a part of the country with different lockdown rules and a higher rate of infection? What a surprise
So we can…
- Go to Mass but not meetings.
- Play football but not watch it.
- Eat in pubs but not have Sunday lunch with parents & siblings.
- Attend a wedding with strangers but not have a BBQ with neighbours.
- Send the kids to school but not go to work. #Covid_19
"I am not a public health expert," says the Taoiseach towards the end of a press conference that has arguably been the most confusing from the Government so far.
Let’s be honest, often people aren’t keeping physical distance & we are allowing the number of close contacts we have to rise & rise. This is not sustainable. I know how tough it is. We are all tired but we need to all get back on top of this. It’s up to us. We’ve come too far
