@Bruadarach_labs This was his mama, Hope. That she paused playing with my son and came over to give me this look means everything. We lost her suddenly in October, and adopted her boy Athos as I think it would have made her happy β₯οΈ
@Bruadarach_labs This guy was so terrified of us when he arrived 7 months ago.
That snuggling on the bed with me is now his happy place makes my heart sing β₯οΈ
@LeeAndersonMP_ Let's hope you haven't just prevented the victim from getting justice because you "cannot keep quiet" and "do not care about the consequences"......
Bingo, heβs finally said it on camera
Who needs democracy when you can have a Hitler like dictator running the country
@Nigel_Farage is a very dangerous man. Wake the fuck up people!
I have tabled an amendment to the Welfare Bill to end outsourcing to 5 profit making private companies and require health assessment staff to be employed by the govt.
When 7 in 10 assessments go to mandatory reconsideration and later granted at cost to the DWP, it's clear the current system isn't working. There are lots of ways to raise funds without taking money away from vulnerable people. Ask your MP to sign Amendment 37.
@DPJHodges Yes, because nobody (man or woman) has ever been barely holding it together over a personal issue, then had a stupid interaction that pushed them over the edge because it was the last straw, have they?!
I'm absolutely amazed there are still folk defending this shit show of a government. Last night was Liz Truss levels of incompetency. The MPs who voted for this shambles of a bill should be embarrassed and ashamed. Good luck explaining why to your constituents.
I am ashamed that our elected MPs would do this.
There is no more important duty than looking out for each other. Than sharing resources. Than having a politics of uplift rather than kicking down.
Shame on any MP who voted for this.
I am having a sob now.
But will fight on.
Thankyou to every MP who voted to protect vulnerable disabled and sick people. To every MP who voted for or abstained, hang your head in shame. What a disgrace.
.@labourlewis: "In truth, our welfare system is increasingly the state subsidising employers who pay poverty wages, landlords charging unaffordable rents & corporations extracting vast profits, all at societys expense" π―
"None of us got into Labour politics in order to make disabled people poorer," Labour MP Richard Burgon tells #PoliticsLive
People will "end up being defined by this vote... that will hang like an albatross around their necks", he adds

As MPs vote on massive cuts to Universal Credit & PIP today, they should bear in mind:
- This does not have public support
- This is not the change the public voted for
- The public don't believe the only way to meet fiscal challenges is to make disabled people poorer and iller
Today MPs will vote on the amended welfare bill.
MPs who choose to walk through the lobby and support this bill are paving the way for at least 150,000 people to be pulled into poverty.
Here are just 3 reasons why they should oppose this bill from @KatieSchmuecker π½
