BREAKING 🅱️ — Texas Roadhouse and Logan’s Roadhouse are getting boycott calls from African Americans over a rumor that 400,000 White servers are in a secret Facebook group spitting in Black customers’ food.

The people pushing it still can’t show the group, the posts, or a single named employee.

Texas Roadhouse also already called it unfounded.

Enes Kanter Freedom just exposed the Chicago Sky.
Before the game he texted their GM (his former trainer) and said:

“We’re coming to the game. We want peace. Nothing controversial. Just want to watch.”

The GM replied: “Just enjoy the game.”

They knew.

Then after Natasha Cloud goes nuclear on him in front of kids, the coach acts like Enes showed up to cause trouble.

And now they’re calling it a “publicity stunt.”

Meanwhile Enes is pointing out the actual rule: if you identify as a woman, you’re allowed to play.

He’s ready to test it.

A few weeks ago, I spoke with a woman who lives in the 49th Ward.

We were talking about bicycle lanes and the concerns some residents have about how they’re designed and where they’re placed.

She told me something that really stuck with me:

She understands the concerns about some bike lanes—but she doesn’t feel safe enough on the CTA.

So she would rather ride a bicycle.

Think about that.

A woman is choosing to navigate Chicago streets on a bicycle because she feels more comfortable doing that than getting on public transportation.

That tells me this conversation cannot simply be cars vs. bikes or bike lanes vs. public transit.

It has to be about safe transportation choices.

Chicagoans should be able to choose the CTA because it is safe.

They should be able to ride a bicycle because they feel safe.

They should be able to walk to their destination because they feel safe.

And they should be able to drive when that’s what their family or job requires.

Government’s job is not to force Chicagoans into one transportation option.

Our job is to make sure every reasonable option is safe.

That’s the Chicago I want to build.

Safe streets.
Safe CTA.
Safe neighborhoods.
Real choices.

While Chicago families were dealing with another weekend of violence, Mayor Brandon Johnson was away in Martha’s Vineyard attending events.

According to Chicago police, at least 17 people were shot and four people lost their lives across the city over the weekend.

This is the reality Chicagoans are facing. Families are grieving. Communities are hurting. People are asking one simple question.

Who is protecting us?

Millions of taxpayer dollars continue to be spent on programs like Community Violence Intervention, yet Chicagoans deserve to know:
Where is the accountability?
Who is receiving the money?
What measurable results are we seeing?

What has changed for the people living with this violence every day?

Chicago cannot afford leaders who are absent when the city needs them most.

As Mayor, I will make public safety my top priority. I will make sure our police have the resources they need, our neighborhoods have the protection they deserve, and Chicagoans know their government is standing with them.

No more excuses. No more politics over people.

Chicagoans deserve safety. Chicagoans deserve leadership. Chicagoans deserve better.

The U.S. military is preparing for the first execution in more than 60 years — and Army Major Nidal Hasan is on the list.

Hasan carried out the 2009 Fort Hood massacre, killing 13 people (including an unborn child) and wounding more than 30 others while shouting “Allahu Akbar.” He targeted unarmed soldiers at a readiness processing center as they prepared for deployment.

He was convicted of 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder, stripped of his rank, and sentenced to death. He has been on death row at Fort Leavenworth for over a decade and has shown no remorse.

The Army has developed plans (including “Operation Resolute Justice”) to carry out military executions if authorized by the President. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has publicly expressed commitment to seeing Hasan’s death sentence carried out. Hasan’s final appeals have been exhausted.

If approved and carried out, it would mark the first U.S. military execution since 1961.

Thirteen American service members never came home because of Hasan’s jihadist attack on his own fellow soldiers. Justice has been delayed for far too long.

ICE arrested more than 1,300 illegal aliens in a two-week operation across Maryland and Virginia, including about 400 with criminal convictions or pending criminal charges for crimes, including:

• A Salvadoran national with a murder warrant

• A Haitian national with a criminal history of attempted murder and two counts of assault

• A Honduran native convicted of felony hit-and-run

Emily Eris is claiming that ICE agents beat up Daphy Michel, put a bag over her head, and left her at a bus stop unconscious.

A reminder that according to a criminal complaint, Michel was taken into custody after a neighbor in Charleroi called police Sept. 3 to report they believed she was having a mental health crisis.

The neighbor told police Michel “brandished a knife at her stating, ‘I want to hurt everyone.’ That's why Michel was arrested and later detained by ICE.

Her family’s lawyer has said the person he’d charge is not ICE.

Straight up defamation and I bet our DOJ will not sue her.

Grace Stephanie Calero Cabanilla, 39, and her daughter Giulianna Mía Carriel Calero, 19. Another car comes into their lane. The car rolls. They go to HCA Florida Poinciana with Grace in a neck brace.

The sister, Gia, says ICE walked into the ER, interviewed Grace in the collar, and cuffed her like a criminal. Gia says Grace has a pending asylum case and a work permit, and that Giulianna has a visa through 2030. That is the family's story. Polk County deputies were in this handoff. Sheriff Grady Judd's office is 287(g). They do not walk two Ecuadorians out of a trauma bay for a speeding ticket.

A pending asylum claim is not a green card. I asked DHS for the file. More information coming soon.

A video is going viral of an incident on the Red Line where a man shoots two people point-blank, right in front of CPD officers.

At the beginning of the video, you’ll see a man standing next to a female officer, appearing to search for something in his pants. He then runs toward a man and shoots him several times before taking off running toward another man.

The shooter was able to get away.

An armed man rips a mother’s keys away and jumps into her car with her baby still inside, right outside a Chick-fil-A. A employee named Mykel Gordon hears her screaming, sprints out mid-shift, drags the guy out of the vehicle, and wrestles him to the pavement, taking punches to the face the whole time and refusing to let go until help arrived.

That’s not just doing his job, that’s putting his own body on the line for a total stranger and her baby in the span of seconds.
