@Kopitar4HOF Completely agree. Spence was home grown and has more skill and hockey iq. That trade and ceci signing made me completely change my mind on how scouting and management handle their teams. I get the size and grit concept. But today’s teams have skill as a priority
@Skkyyyyyyyyyyy@Covers_josh Can’t argue with that. He made some decisions that were in the moment. He gambled and lost. Accountability. Agree at times he could be more accountable. The question was for me about his ability not his accountability. Seems we both have fair points.
@Covers_josh Well coached. Hard hat type players. Just didn’t have game breakers. Scoring was a weak point. His players lost faith in him because they couldn’t do anything more on the ice. To me, this falls on the manager for better scoring players. Meaning more skill was needed. So hiller
@Covers_josh A new system, new identity. But that doesn’t fall on Hiller. It falls on mediocrity of 4 lines of average players with a good worth ethic but no scoring. I’ll sum it up like this. We got into over 30 overtime games. This says it all to me. We can play with anyteam cause we were
@LordsOfTheRinks Agree. I’ve watched for 40 years. There are many ways to fix team. Look what Colorado did with their free agent signings of college kids. Being creative is necessary. QB is not the guy. But we can hope for a T. Thompson type evolution. Fiala is good. Panarin amazing. Kempe🙌
