Mt. Olive stepped up to attend the Great American State Fair even though NC’s governor decided not to send delegates.

In today’s political climate, that was beyond brave. It showed true North Carolina grit. I’m so proud of them for stepping up to represent us when our own governor wouldn’t.

Yes, they pulled out after a fictional version of the NC flag-rebel flag mash-up was depicted.

Am I going to boycott them?

NO!

Mt. Olive has been providing North Carolina with jobs and superior pickles since 1926!

They have a brand and product to protect. Stepping away from the event was the smart thing to do for them.

I’m not mad at them.

Please don’t destroy a local business whose hand was forced. 🙏🏼
