🙏 The Warkari community and @mandirmahasangh have strongly opposed the Archaeological Department's plan to apply epoxy/silicon coating on the revered Swayambhu Shri Vitthal-Rukmini Murthys in Pandharpur on June 23-24.

⚖️ If any damage is caused to the sacred idols, a criminal case will be filed against the Temple Committee and the ASI.

❓ Why are Dharmacharyas not consulted before decisions affecting Hindu deities are taken?

❓ Would such arbitrary actions ever be attempted at places of worship belonging to other religions?

🕉️ Crores of devotees' faith must be respected and protected.

The #RTI Act 2005 is a Central Legislation, but the state portal is adding illegal surcharges. Here is the reality:

🔹 The Law: Maharashtra RTI Rules 2005 fix the application fee strictly at Rs. 10/-

🔹The Reality: Citizens are forced to pay Rs. 15.90/- at digital checkout.

🔹The Breach: MeitY's 2017 Gazette Notification mandates that the government must absorb all digital gateway/MDR costs under Rs. 2000/-

🔹The Impact: Charging a 59% premium on digital users creates an illegal economic barrier to a fundamental right and results in the unjust enrichment of private intermediaries.

@DoPTGoI and @GoI_MeitY must issue a Central Advisory to standardize PAN INDIA state portals and protect citizen rights.
