I have a question for fantasy readers. Do you prefer when an author uses existing races/names (Dwarves, High Elves, Orcs, Goblins). Or. Do you like it when they create their own races/names, and maybe use a glossary at the beginning?

To add context, the races draw from traditional lore, like LOTR, D&D, and The Witcher, but inhabit a unique world with its own original history and lore
