@PolandM222@realEstateTrent Compsci degrees are watered-down degrees that do a disservice to the graduate. Not enough actual computer anything to be a CSE degree. Not enough business to be on an MBA track. These are the first jobs to be eliminated by AI.
@STLChrisH PE is the reason “whole system replacements” are being pushed instead of just fixing components. It’s also a known that they price fix in an area when multiple HVAC companies are owned by the same PE. Bad for home owners. Same deal with plumbers.
@DutchRojas@SalaryDr The only answer is side hustles. Investing in labs. Working with clinical study programs like Cedar Research. But that’s also the problem - they shouldn’t have to have side hustles.
@SalaryDr I call BS. Unless that Ob/Gyn is actually doing in-utero ortho, or they’re actually just doing robot work as a Gyn there is zero chance this is a real salary.
@YahooFinance@ines_ferre You also failed to mention that his larger “lower energy prices” goal will be wiped out by natural gas prices as they are expected to go up by 3x-4x within the next few years.
@YahooFinance@ines_ferre@ines_ferre You missed a lot of key points including the biggest price driver for gasoline. With our limited refinement capacity, gasoline prices will only go up especially since low oil prices cause producers to lower production.
@SalaryDr OB/Gyns are barely making that range in a specialty with one of the highest burn out. Dentists are private equity darlings now while foundational medicine ends up the lowest rung on the ladder because PE can’t figure out how to make money off of it. Something has to change.
@MichaelGalvezMD@drdanchoi For which the laws of supply and demand in relation to pay don’t apply because Insurance has a death grip on the practice of medicine
@noahkaufmanmd Yeah you have a fundamental misunderstanding of the technology. Without knowing how their training is targeting, and assuming a “broad” training you now end up with models that provide consensus that can be swayed by how you word the prompt.
@BasedSierra117 @TrumpDailyPosts You mean the democrats who actually paid their bills in the various cities and states while the Republicans stiffed them?
@BrentAWilliams2 Not a “leftist” thing. Everyone agrees MDs should be taken care of better and it’s going to be a bipartisan effort to reform healthcare.
