On this day, we remember Lieutenant H J Walters, of the 2nd Monmouthshires.

We have very little on Lieutenant Walters. We know that he lived at Abesychan, and that he was killed in action in May 1915.

Prior to the war, he worked as an collier hewer at Viponds Colliery, and was a member of the Primitive Methodist Church.
