The House passed a budget reconciliation bill that would increase our energy bills & limit America to old, inefficient energy.
We can still prevent this budget from doing irreparable harm to our communities as the Senate deliberates.

@RizomaSchool Somebody choosing to wear a mask doesn’t hurt you or anybody else. It’s up to them. And reinforces their own autonomy.
Freedom looks and feels differently to all.
I want to be able to legally wear a mask at all times so that I may maintain my anonymity in public spaces.
@RizomaSchool I strongly believe that we should be normalizing masking as much as possible. Not because of illness, but because of surveillance.
COVID has been a minor set back for facial recognition. Just look at Hong Kong where the Chinese government has banned mask wearing.
After a looong Summer break, The Response podcast is back with new episodes!
We discussed the impact of the planned disaster that is #Gentrification, current struggles to stop it, and what we can do in our own communities.
✨New! We’re back with an episode featuring writer and organizer Andrew Lee.
We discussed Andrew’s recent book, "Defying Displacement: Urban Recomposition and Social War," gentrification, and more.

Energy that's more reliable, sustainable, and cheaper?! This seems like a no-brainer to me. Every community, whether serviced by an electric co-op, municipally owned utility, or investor-owned utility, should become part of a Virtual Power Plant.
⚡Virtual Power Plants create a more resilient, dependable, and affordable energy network for rural America.

Remember when bombing hospitals was a big deal? After destroying Gaza’s healthcare system, now Israel is attacking hospitals and killing medics in LEBANON where there’s no hostages to “rescue.”
This is a war crime, funded by US-tax dollars, and US officials couldn’t care less.
“Even with this enormous investment, rural electric cooperatives still have tens of billions of dollars in need to help retire fossil fuel-based facilities and replace them with clean, sustainable energy.” Bri Knisley, @AppVoices
