For anybody wondering about what was wrong with the transmission, this piece of metal had broken off from the clutch plate, and jammed the pad to the flywheel. The car wouldn't go into gear with the engine running and try to move even with the clutch disengaged.

I finally put together our Birdify bird feeder, and it's 😎. It has a camera, and anytime a bird stops to feed, it sends a notification to our phones, so we can watch it if we want to. It also automatically identifies what kind of bird it is. This one is a Carolina Chickadee:
